A native South Carolinian, Grant Fontaine grew up in Columbia and graduated from A.C. Flora High School. During this time, he attained the rank of Eagle Scout and was a Bronze, Gold and Silver Palm recipient.
Fontaine is a two-time graduate of the University of South Carolina. In 2020, he earned a B.A. in Political Science and in 2022 earned a Master’s degree in Public Administration. While attending USC, he worked in the South Carolina General Assembly and interned for two local law firms as a law assistant.
Fontaine is active in his community, volunteering time at Harvest Hope Food Bank and other local organizations. He is an avid outdoorsman and loves the South Carolina coast. Fontaine’s interest in governance, from the local to federal levels, spurred his interest in working at First Tuesday Strategies.
