Prior to joining FTS, Hunter Sox was the Legislative Initiatives Coordinator for the South Carolina Institute of Medicine and Public Health (IMPH). In this role, he represented IMPH with members of the General Assembly, their staff, and other elected officials to increase the Institute’s visibility and credibility as the go-to resource or nonpartisan information to inform health policy. Before his stint with IMPH, Hunter worked for the South Carolina House of Representatives. Hunter cares deeply about the local community he grew up in, and in 2021, was elected to a city council seat in Cayce, South Carolina.
