Slayten Carter Sapp has nearly a decade of experience in external affairs and public relations. Before relocating to South Carolina, she served as the Corporate Engagement and Membership Manager at the Georgia Farm Bureau, facilitating strategic partnerships and statewide acquisition projects for the Federation. Prior to her work in agriculture advocacy, Slayten represented the offices of Congressman Austin Scott (GA-08) and Senator Kelly Loeffler (GA-R) in the 20+ counties of Middle Georgia.
A native of rural South Georgia, Slayten earned her associate’s and bachelor’s degrees from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC) and Mercer University, respectively. Slayten and her husband, Sean, live in Charleston, South Carolina.
