Phillip Habib joins FTS as Vice President; Angela McCallum promoted to Director

Columbia, S.C. – First Tuesday Strategies (FTS), South Carolina’s top political and public affairs campaign firm, today announced Phillip Habib as Vice President of Campaigns and promoted Angela McCallum to Director of Campaigns.

The hire and promotion signify FTS’s continued commitment to its nearly one-hundred clients across the nation.

Phillip Habib has established himself as one of South Carolina’s top political operatives, recently serving as Campaign Manager for State Rep. Russell Fry’s successful primary campaign. Fry won a majority of votes on the first ballot against a sitting member of Congress.

Earlier in 2022, Habib served as Campaign Manager for the winning Mike Reichenbach for State Senate campaign. In the 2020 campaign cycle, Phillip’s work was recognized with a Reed Award for Best Online Video for a Republican State Legislative Campaign.

In 2016, with a campaign budget of only $30, then-Wofford College student Habib was elected to the Berkeley County Soil and Water Commission as a write-in candidate. He is a 2018 graduate of Wofford College

Angela McCallum joined FTS in 2021 following stints at the Trump White House and National Republican Senatorial Committee. The 2019 Clemson graduate served as de facto campaign manager for nearly a dozen winning Republican primary candidates this year.

McCallum was raised in Greenwood, S.C and attended public schools in the county. She graduated from Clemson University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Economics.
