Slayten Carter Sapp Joins FTS as Director

First Tuesday Strategies (FTS), South Carolina’s top political and public affairs consulting firm, has welcomed Slayten Carter Sapp as Director, Public Affairs. Sapp joins an experienced team of public affairs professionals at FTS that is dedicated to providing world-class strategic counsel and client success. 

First Tuesday Strategies is an award-winning campaign, public relations, and public affairs firm with a proven record of success for its candidates and clients. The FTS team has over 60 years of combined experience running political and public affairs campaigns in South Carolina and the United States.

Sapp has nearly a decade of experience in external affairs and public relations. Before relocating to South Carolina, she served as the Corporate Engagement and Membership Manager at the Georgia Farm Bureau, facilitating strategic partnerships and statewide acquisition projects for the Federation. Prior to her work in agriculture advocacy, Sapp represented the offices of Congressman Austin Scott (GA-08) and Senator Kelly Loeffler (GA-R) in the 20+ counties of Middle Georgia. 

A native of rural South Georgia, Sapp earned her associate’s and bachelor’s degrees from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC) and Mercer University, respectively. Slayten and her husband, Sean, live in Charleston, South Carolina.
