Slayten Carter Sapp brings nearly a decade of experience in external affairs, public relations, and stakeholder engagement.
Prior to relocating to South Carolina, Slayten served as Corporate Engagement and Membership Manager at the Georgia Farm Bureau, where she led statewide partnerships and membership growth strategies for the Federation. Her work was nationally recognized in 2022 with an Excellence in Communications Award from the American Farm Bureau Federation.
Earlier in her career, Slayten represented the offices of Congressman Austin Scott (GA-08) and U.S. Senator Kelly Loeffler, serving more than 20 counties across Middle Georgia. In these roles, she built strong relationships with local leaders and business stakeholders while overseeing outreach efforts, policy communications, and constituent services throughout the region.
A proud native of rural Georgia, Slayten earned her associate’s degree with honors from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and her bachelor’s degree with honors from Mercer University. She and her husband, Sean, now reside in Charleston, South Carolina.
