First Tuesday Strategies (FTS) is a Columbia, South Carolina-based campaign and public affairs firm with a proven record of winning results for its candidates and clients at the state and national level.

We are seeking to hire an energetic, hardworking individual as an entry-level Communications Associate. Prior experience in public relations, public affairs, or politics is preferred, but not required.

Ideal candidates will have experience in Photoshop, InDesign, basic HTML/CSS, print design, and data analysis. This will be a fast-paced position from day one.

Responsibilities

– Create social media schedules, content, and graphics;

– Conduct public policy and political research;

– Draft media advisories, op-eds, statements, talking points, and other communications materials;

– Manage CRM software for clients;
